Most people want to plan their Wedding themselves and that's why I created the Elopement Journal & Planning Guide. Packed full of information and ideas, you won't want it to leave your side
Once you have some ideas, or even if you don't, you might find yourself looking for some extra guidance to finesse the details. That's where I come in, with personalised assistance or all-in planning
Are you looking for something with a little character and history to wear for your Elopement? Or, are you struggling for budget for a brand new outfit? If so, check out my collection of Vintage & Pre-Loved
Being born into hospitality (my father was a chef and restauranteur) set me on my path to a love of weddings. When I was 7 years old, his restaurant's Maitre D was getting married. I marvelled at her beautiful gold dress as I helped her down the stairs. In this moment I fell in love and found my calling.
After years of assisting couples to have their ideal wedding experience as a Co-ordinator, in 2010, we planned our own Elopement. The rain poured and changed all our plans, but it didn't matter. The day was small, laid-back and fun, with just a few of our closest people.
Fast forward to 2022, and I created a weekend getaway in Victoria for Chris' birthday, where we stayed in a romantic old Tower and rode bicycles around the local wineries.
The weekend was perfect and we began our mission to assist other couples wanting more than just a quick Ceremony for their big day.
Whilst I am often mistakenly referred to as Kathleen (yep, we made a confusing business name), Kathleen was actually our Grandma!
Kathleen loved to explore and write letters, spend time with family and tell us stories. It's impossible to imagine a kinder, more gentle person.
She lived through World War II, working as a nurse and looking after the family farm with her husband, Eric. They both loved to travel in their Motor Caravan, which took them all over Europe with their 3 children in tow; a love passed down from generation to generation.
After living to 100 years old and receiving the birthday card she had always wanted from her beloved Queen, she sadly passed away. But, in the same year, as we developed ideas of bringing together travel and love, naming the experiences after her felt like the perfect way to honour and reflect her memory.
In the same way that she would never go anywhere without sending us a postcard from her travels, we hope that together we will create beautiful memories that you want to write home about too.
My Dear Kathleen is a reminder to cherish the memories and adventures that make life so special ♥︎
